KC vs. Metrostars Pregame thread

Well, since its a day away I figured we should get this started. No question about it, we have to win this game (and Saturday for that matter).

We should beat this team, but we're also missing a couple guys. Also, how long until Hesmer gets a shot? I have a feeling it may be coming sooner rather than later.

I like that lineup.

Speaking of Hesmer, I saw that he did not play the last reserves match. That seems odd unless he is getting the start tomorrow night.

And yet, I just don't see Gansler giving Hesmer a start unless things get really, really bad. DC's goals against us were not Bo's fault. A PK, a bad pass, and a defensive breakdown.

Wish I could be there Wednesday night.
This will be an extremely important game for Arnaud. He needs to step it up right now with Wolff out of the lineup.

Gutierrez is listed as probable. I wonder if Bob will want to bring him back so soon. Maybe not Wedneday, but maybe Saturday?

One other interesting note -- these two teams have never drawn at Arrowhead. With Wolff and Zavagnin gone and the Metrostars basically missing no one, a draw would be better than a loss. But we really need the win to keep pace with the Revs, Fire and DC.

Metro are missing the 18 year old forward Abbe Ibrahim due to red card. Agoos also came up with cramps last game.

For you Sealey fans, no excuses this game. He'll play the whole enchilada, he's not been up to the speed of play the last time I saw him live. Still anything was an improvement over lost in headlights Taylor.
