When Boca Juniors Meet River Plate, a City Divides
I've been to both El Monumental and La Bombonera but haven't seen the two teams play each other. I saw Boca play Velez Sarsfield and River play Chacarita. I've seen the SuperClassico in Bolivia between The Strongest and Bolivar 3 times. It all adds up to making me laugh when the DCSEC says no confetti.

The super-classico of all super-classicos, soccer, boxing, and sword fighting all rolled up into one event.
great story
There were no reported fistfights...
How often can you say that about the Old Firm?

Absolutly true. Deep down inside is not even the game that rules. It is the atmosphere created by the fans for the fans that makes the whole experience great. There the game is just an excuse, the fans own the show.
That's stuff to aspire to, not G rated atmosphere |
